SETH SURAJMAL BOMBAYWALA HOSPITAL situated 4 kms. away from the campus in the heart of the City.

PATIENT CARE PROGRAM FOR SC & ST POPULATION 

1. Institute Hospital( Arogyashala)

At the OPD level, all the 12 Departments are represented for the benefit of patients. The Clinical Departments which render treatment to the patients are Kaya chikitsa, Shalya Tantra, Shalakya Tantra, Prasuti-Stri Roga and Bal Roga, besides rendering services for post-graduate research work by Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, Shareer Rachana, Shareer Kriya, Maulik Siddhant, Rog Vigyan, Agad Tantra and Dravya Guna, to select specified cases and arrange their specific treatments accordingly. These Departments are alloted specific days in the OPD.  
  Indoor

The bed strength is 160 allocated among different Departments. There is a provision for additional 20 beds in the hospital.  

  Cottage and Cubical Wards

5 Cottage and 3 Cubical Wards are also available in the Indoor Hospital. There is much demand for these wards with patients always waiting in for their turn.
 Medicines available both at OPD and IPD  are dispensed to patients free of cost. Pathological tests are also made available. Apart from this, X-Ray, ECG, Ultra-Sonography, etc.  are also provided.

 2. S.S.M.B.  HOSPITAL

This Hospital, a 20-bedded one, is situated in the heart of the city at Kishan Pole Bazar about 4 kms. away from the campus and is managed by the Department of Kaya chikitsa. The OPD services are looked after by different Departments.

3.  Patient Care Program for SC and ST Population  

NIA also undertakes Medical Aid Camps in SC, ST and Rural areas of Rajasthan. Medical check-up and free distribution of medicines are done in each Camp.  For 2005-06, a sum of Rs. 5.08 lakhs was incurred to organize such Camps.  4 Six day and 2 One day Mobile Clincal Camps were organized rendering medical service and dispensing medicines free of cost to 3,514 Patients.  The Camps were oranized at Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Jalore and Jaipur Districts.
