Introduction:

A Manuscript Unit is set-up in the Institute to preserve rare Scripts, Samhitas, Classical References on Ayurveda which are available with erudite scholars of Ayurveda, Libraries, royal families, Places, individuals, organizations etc. This is the study of scientific exploration of past in the purview of present knowledge for the future researcher. Manuscriptology improving general and intellectual status of research scholar gives impetus towards the totality of Ayurvedic wisdom with adept knowledge in Samhitas. It also helps to develop excellent skill in research methodology.
